DR. DOMINIC GERVASIO

From 2009 to present, Dr. Dominic Gervasio  is a Research Professor in the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering in the University of Arizona. Dr. Gervasio has been the author of numerous scientific publications (serving on the board of high impact journals) and patents. Currently at Metoxs Electrochemicals, he is involved with the improvement of our current molten salt technologies for metal recovery.

DR. HASSAN  ELSENTRIECY

CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

Dr. Hassan Elsentriecy got his PhD in Materials Chemistry in 2009, from Hokkaido University, Japan.  He worked as a Research Specialist Principal at the department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering, University of Arizona, USA (2014-2016). Dr. Elsentriecy has about 15 research papers published in international scientific journals.  He is currently leading work to develop a new and environmentally friendly methods to extract metals from their ores, as the Chief Technology Officer at Caltrode and Zeltrode .

 

JAMES NIELSEN

James Nielsen attended Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa from 1972 to 1978. He graduated in 1978 from Iowa State University with a Double BS degree in Chemical Engineering and Computer Science . From 2007 to 2016, he worked in the design of complete mining process plants including Copper and Molybdenum Hydromet Plants Recovering Ammonium DiMolybdate from open pit mines and other processes.

 

DR. JINHONG ZHANG

CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

Dr. Jinhong Zhang currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer of Acrete. He obtained his PhD in minerals processing from the

Department of Mining and Minerals Engineering in Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Dr. Zhang is also a Freeport McMoRan Copper & Gold Chair in Mineral Processing at the University of Arizona. Dr. Zhang is currently optimizing Acrete's technology for commercial use in alternative building materials.

DR. MOE MOMAYEZ

Dr. Moe Momayez is Associate Professor and Associate Chair of the Department of Mining and Geological Engineering with expertise in material characterization; geo and distributed sensing; rock mechanics; rock physics; slope stability; underground mining and construction; mine ventilation; geophysics; nondestructive testing; instrumentation; data fusion; knowledge integration; renewable energy.

 

 

DR. PEIWEN LI

DIERCTOR OF THERMAL TECHNOLOGY

METOXS ELECTROCHEMICALS

Dr. Peiwen Li is an Associate Professor at the University of Arizona. His background is in thermo science , energy and power engineering.

Dr. Li's current work focuses on electrochemical devices, solar thermal and renewable energy technologies. Currently is directing thermal management technologies at Metoxs Electrochemicals.

 

DR. SHUPING CHEN

HEAD OF ENGINEERING

Dr. Shuping Chen’s background is in fluid flow and heat transfer in industrial and mechanical engineering. She received her Ph.D. in thermal/fluid science in Mechanical Engineering from University of Pittsburgh, PA ,US in 2008.  She joined Metoxs in 2016., and currently working on a projects involving heat recovery as well as the  engineering design for HydroS chemical generating plants.

JUAN CARLOS SOTO URIBE

SENIOR RESEARCH SCIENTIST

Juan Carlos Soto Uribe completed his studies at the Autonomous University of Nayarit, obtaining a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering in 2009, a Master's degree in Sciences in 2013 at the University of Sonora and  a Doctor of Science degree at the University of Sonora , both with a specialty in Extractive Metallurgy. In the professional field, he has worked as a Professional in Development at Grupo México.

In 2016 , He started working at Metoxs Industries in Mexico, in the Hydro S and ARV Leaching Technologies.

 

ANDREA PALMA DURAN

Andrea Palma Duran finished her Bachelors Degree in Engineering in 2015 from the University of Sonora and since then has been working on HydroS and the ARV Leaching Technologies at Metoxs Industries Mexico.

JULIO EDUARDO AGUILA SANTACRUZ

JUNIOR CHEMICAL ENGINEER

Julio Eduardo Aguila Santacruz has graduate degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Sonora with experience in laboratory practices and compliance. He is currently working on pilot plant design and engineering for the HydroS project at Metoxs Industries Mexico.

DAVID VALENZUELA ORTIZ

JUNIOR BUSINESS ASSOCIATE

David Valenzuela Ortiz finished his Bachelors Degree from the Universidad del Valle de Mexico in 2015.

He joined Metoxs Industries in 2016, and has been involved in the strategic planning and organizing cross office collaboration.

The role that David has is to assist in organization of current efforts to meet company mandates.
